    New interview presents some tough questions on being an artist

    Too rude? Nudity, Art and Adolescence

    The panel for this Tuesday Talk, in conjunction with the Verge Arts Festival, consists of different experts in contemporary art. Panellists will explore issues surrounding nudity and sexuality in art and particularly the use of young people and children in this art. The Bill Henson scandal in 2008 brought out strong opinions both against and in defence of his work. By talking about their own work and drawing on their areas of expertise our panelists will shed some light on this tricky and divisive issue.

    On the panel:

    * Joanne Teng – Solicitor at the Arts Law Centre Sydney
    * Jennie Rosenbaum – Contemporary figurative artist
    * Amy Thornett – recent COFA graduate and photomedia artist

    Tuesday Talks are free events and all are welcome. We hope to see you there!
